Waititi As Hitler In “Jojo” First Photo

Movie News

Filmmaker Taika Waititi has posted a new photo from the set of his latest film “Jojo Rabbit,” including a shot of him in full costume as Adolph Hitler alongside Scarlett Johansson.

Waititi’s film follows an awkward young German boy (Roman Griffin) raised by a single mother (Johansson), and whose only ally is his imaginary friend Hitler (Waititi). His naive patriotism is tested when he meets a young girl (Thomasin McKenzie) who upends his world views, forcing him to face his biggest fears.

There’s no release date yet for “Jojo Rabbit” beyond a generic 2019 one.
