“Tomb” Scribe To Pen Lord & Miller’s “Artemis”

Movie News

“Tomb Raider” and “Captain Marvel” scribe Geneva Robertson-Dworet has been hired to adapt the script for Phil Lord and Chris Miller’ next directorial effort “Artemis” at Fox and New Regency.

Based on the novel by “The Martian” author Andy Weir, Simon Kinberg and Adita Sood are producing the adrenaline-charged crime caper which features detailed world-building based on real science.

The story follows an overly smart, directionless twentysomething chafing at the constraints of her small town and dreaming of a better life. Thing is her small town is also the moon’s only city.

When the chance at a life-changing score drops in her lap, she can’t say no and finds herself in the middle of a conspiracy for control of Artemis itself. Robertson-Dworet is also working on the Spidey spin-off “Silver & Black”.
