“Spider-Man Homecoming 2” Seeks Two Roles

Filming on the sequel to “Spider-Man: Homecoming” kicks off later this year and production on the project is reportedly ramping up with some new albeit minor casting details surfacing regarding two key characters.

That Hashtag Show reports that these pivotal characters include a villain and a high school student. Both male and female actors of any ethnicity are being considered for the villain who is between 30 and 45 years of age and has ‘elevated ideas’ which doesn’t narrow it down as to which potential Spidey rogue’s gallery member it could be.

The student meanwhile is said to be a major role with the actor to not only be able to ‘hold their own’ alongside Spider-Man himself Tom Holland but also have ‘leading man qualities’. Males between the ages of 18 and 24 years old are sought and the character will not lead to any sort of spin-off film reportedly. Best guess? The new Harry Osborn.

Jon Watts is directing “Spider-Man: Homecoming 2” from a script by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. Filming begins in Berlin, London, Venice, Prague and New York City shortly ahead of a July 5th 2019 release.
