Bandai Namco Studios Singapore has been revealed as the company in charge of developing the fourth “Metroid Prime” game title for the Nintendo Switch. The project was first announced at E3 last year and is still very early in development so won’t be out anytime soon. [Source: Eurogamer]

Don’t Worry He Won’t Get Far On Foot
Amazon Studios has pushed back its Sundance Film Festival premiere “Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far On Foot” from May 11th to July 13th. The film scored fairly good notices out of Park City and follows Joaquin Phoenix as a paralysed man who turned to drawing for therapy. Jonah Hill and Jack Black also star while Gus Van Sant penned and directs the film. [Source: Deadline]

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” is set to be released on Digital HD and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD next month. Having grossed over $860 million worldwide, serious talks have already occurred regarding a potential sequel to the film starring Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan. The film gets a Digital HD release on March 6th followed by a disc release on March 20th. [Source: SPHE]

L.A. Confidential
Michael Dinner (“Justified”) has been tapped to direct and executive produce CBS drama pilot “L.A. Confidential” based on James Ellroy’s classic noir novel. Arnon Milchan will produce for CBS TV Studios, New Regency and Lionsgate TV.

Written by Jordan Harper, the story follows three homicide detectives, a female reporter and a Hollywood actress whose paths intersect as the detectives pursue a sadistic serial killer among the secrets and lies of gritty, glamorous 1950s Los Angeles. [Source: Deadline]
