New “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” Poster

Ahead of tonight’s second trailer for Rian Johnson’s “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” Disney and Lucasfilm have released the new poster which similarly adopts splashes of red on white like some of the previous character one-sheets.

There’s also Luke in the position that’s usually reserved for villains in this saga, his face looming over the group. The one-sheet comes as Johnson says stories about his tweet yesterday to ignore the new trailer if you want to go in cold have been overblown.

Commenting on an EW headline, he says: “That wording is misleading – I said IF you want to come in totally 100% clean, avoid the trailer… I love that there are folks who want to come into a movie clean, I think that’s awesome. Me, I’m a weak man. I watch ALL THE TRAILERS.”

Advance tickets for the film are now on sale, via movie ticketing outlets, ahead of the film’s December 15th release.
