Kelley, Kidman Reunite On HBO’s “Undoing”

TV-Shows News

“Big Little Lies” actress Nicole Kidman, writer David E. Kelley and executive producer Bruna Papandrea are re-teaming with HBO for another mini-series titled “The Undoing” which has been given a straight-to-series order.

An adaptation of Jean Hanff Korelitz’s psychological thriller novel “You Should Have Known,” Kidman stars as Grace Sachs – a successful therapist on the brink of publishing her first book with a devoted husband and young son who attends an elite private school in New York City.

Suddenly her life collapses – a violent death, a missing husband, and in place of a man she thought she knew there is only a chain of terrible revelations.

Caught in a spreading and very public disaster, and horrified by the ways in which she has failed to heed her own advice, Grace must dismantle one life and create another for her child and herself.

All three talents will executive produce alongside Per Saari, with Kelley also serving as writer and showrunner. A search for a director is underway.
