To celebrate both Batman Day and the launch of the DC Universe streaming service, the first clip from the upcoming series “Titans” has been released and shows off the two Robins – Brenton Thwaites’ Dick Grayson and Curran Walters’ Jason Todd – in action.

The clip can be seen at the 2:18 mark in the first episode of “DC Daily,” a talk show/update series that will be a part of the network.

“Titans” follows a group of young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic “Teen Titans” franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth.

Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and loveable Beast Boy. Together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes. The series launches October 12th.
